Casa Videira refers to one of the pillars of the region’s economy. Given its soil and climatic characteristics, the Monsanto region is, par excellence, a wine-growing area. These two factors -microclimate and differentiated soils -, determine the multiplicity of aromas and unique flavours of the wines produced here, only possible in this region.
According to a study by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of the Beira Interior, the red wines produced here help prevent diseases such as stomach cancer, in addition to wine’s well known and common health benefits, if consumed in moderation.
With an area of 40 m², Casa Videira has one bedroom, a living area, a kitchenette and a shower room and can accommodate up to 4 people. The house is equipped with heating, TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with crockery (6 pax), an electric kettle, a microwave, a toaster, a hob and a coffee machine.
